Nickel Grease

Used with stainless steel and nickel alloys, and available in food safe versions. Use as an alternative to other compounds. Has one of the highest temperature limits we've seen.

Anti-Galvanic

For friction based fastenings we can use a jointing compound which excludes moisture, insoluble even in marine engines, boat rigging and other saltwater environments.

Duralac® sets hard. I applied this to a hose coupling, then had to delay the job, and it set. When we continued it was very difficult to clean out of the threads. That brittleness when set is useful when stripping for maintenance. When you see jointing compounds, or revisit one you sealed, the Rock and Freeze steps should work. If they don't, Vibration will.
